I can. perhaps, be forgiven once one learns that this book teaches you how to use solar to power cordless tools such as grinders and circular saws, and even to weld. Plus loads more (the book has pictures of solar-powered lights, a walkman, an amplifier, a sander, milling machine, hammer drill, turning lathe, drill press, fan, sewing machine, washer, spin dryer, guitar, and etc.).
