I use ActiveState Perl 5.12.2. I'm surprized:
'a' =~ /^(?(?=b)b)a$/ # Not match 'a' =~ /^(?(?=b))a$/ # Match
Why yes-subpattern attempts to match? The condition (?=b) must return false.
