Many of you have probably heard of this already but for any interested college students or mentors, Google's Summer of Code registration is starting next week.

You can also support the program by spreading the word on college campuses. My wife teaches education at a small college here in New Jersey and has coordinated the student teacher program. When I told her about the program she said schools are always looking for good internship opportunities. She'll be forwarding the flyer and links to the internship director today.

So if you know of someone in academia or even if you have a decent relationship with your alma mater, send them the flyer and link to the program. Like my wife's college, they're probably looking for good opportunities for their students.

*The deadline for the program is April 8. (Not a lot of time for registration unfortunately.)

UPDATE: Cleaned up wording on the list of links.
