Please advice how do i do it?
Something like
my $soap ...
->proxy( 'http://localhost/blah/DummyService', timeout => 1 );
$soap->transport->add_handler("request_send", sub {
my( $req ) = @_;
use autodie;
open my $raw, ">', '/my/known/temp.gz';
binmode $raw;
print $raw $req->content;
close $raw;
return;
});
Then you manually examine /my/known/temp.gz with 7-zip or gunzip or ...
I get the desired result if i dont use options=>{compress_threshold =>1000} in the client.
Let me understand, eliminating compress_threshold fixes it? Yeah, I'd remove that immediately :)
I'd also look into SOAP::Simple
