I need some advice in converting the encodings of a text files.
How can I find the encoding of a text file in perl?
How can I convert utf8 to latin-1, latin-1 to ASCII, latin-1 to utf8?
Also I need to replace unsupported charaters with letter 'X' while converting the encodings.
