Maybe we could start from the current Apache configuration you have?

I'm really unclear as to what parts you want to change, because it seems that you already serve your new dynamic pages through FCGI.

Maybe you want to define a new <location> and/or a reverse proxy setup (like mod_proxy) to fetch other dynamic parts via FCGI? Or maybe you want to use mod_fcgi for some parts of your site?
