Pasted below is the script I am using for connecting to postgres . ----------------------------------------------------- cat tt.pl

But it gives me error as below :- 
DBI connect('dbname=postgres;host=laddakh','postgres',...) failed: cou
+ld not connect to server: Connection refused
    Is the server running on host "laddakh" and accepting
    TCP/IP connections on port 5432? at tt.pl line 5

my postgres is installed on a server name 'laddakh'.
