I tried both, came up with this:
Bareword "WWW::Curl::CURLOPT_HEADER" not allowed while "strict subs" in use at t.cgi line 16.
Bareword "WWW::Curl::Easy::CURLOPT_TIMEOUT" not allowed while "strict subs" in use at t.cgi line 17.
