It's sad that you feel that the responses you get to your idea are cynical and that your approach at humility is not met with the reaction you expect. You are of course free to continue to use your unique approach, as it already seems to have served you well in practice.

It is unfortunate that you do not want to highlight the differences between your tool and the existing tools. Doing so might make it easier for potential users of your toolset to evaluate what your new tool does and in what ways it is superior to the existing solutions already in place.
