Well I had a look in /usr/local/share/perl/5.10.1/Modern at Modern::Perl by chromatic, and there didn't seem to be much in there to go on.

I have a feeling that this bit of code is important :



use mro     ();
use feature ();

sub import {
    warnings->import();
    strict->import();
    feature->import( ':5.10' );
    mro::set_mro( scalar caller(), 'c3' );
}

But I have no clue what it does. Well ok, I do have some clue, it's importing functions from other modules, but I can't see how it makes perl understand such things as "say".
