Please use a more descriptive title. This section is for Perl questions. We expect Perl questions so a question titled: perl question doesn't tell us much and (in this case) is exactly the same as someone else's from earlier today. So when monks try to assist you it will be hard to track down replies to your post.

and:  <code> code here </code>
to format your post, it's "PerlMonks-approved HTML":
