However, if you want to do some research, you'll find plenteous related material here in threads originated (usually) by folks looking for a way to deliver a script in a way that won't allow the recipient to retrieve or reconstruct the source... Super Search is your friend... as is Google.

Hint: terms like "protect, source, encrypt" in various combinations or singly will get you a decent start. Throw in "perl" if you use big G.
