Go to Tls.pm line 369 ($len -= $w;) add a new line 370: $offset += $w; I think this is a known bug in Net::SMTP::TLS (Tls.pm) On my Gentoo box the file is located at: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.14.1/Net/SMTP
