I suggest we have a containment method for flame wars that get out of control by spreading across other threads and the site. It would involve taking all current as well as any future nodes engaged in a flame war and relocating them into one thread. This would be different from reaping in that the nodes are still accessible, the parties involved still have their voices 'heard', can even continue within reason and no one member is isolated. The meme itself is what becomes isolated to help *contain* further disrupting of the site.
