Hi All

I am new to perl i need a help on perl script please help me out i will be thankfull for you peoples,My issue is has follows

  1. I have Log txt file which is more than 3 GB
  2. I need to grep in windows maching using perl script
  3. The serching cretiria is as follows
    1. The file will contains 8 digit,16 digit,24 digit specifi numbers
    2. I need to serch that specific number in that file
    3. The file may be 3 GB r it may be also Folder which is 30 GB which contains mainy files
  4. If i need to serch please any body write a script which will first prompt for the input for digit and file path and serch it in the file and write it in to the file
  5. There should be 4 digit input to serch and file path ,and file to be written
  6. another cretire is if that perticular digit is found in that file then it should also copy 10 lines before and after that particular line
