The person who has spent years off-and-on researching with data that is never going to be made available to you, has some insights on the subject. Strange how that happens. But don't you worry, little Snookums, you can still whine about the paternalism. Yes you can, can't you?

Ironic that part of the reason I eventually abandoned posting much more at this time was due to the likely emotional load associated with much of this meant way too much time trying to avoid setting off emotional landmines. Thanks for the curt validation of that point, at least. If that's how it's going to be handled, I'm less inclined to persevere.
