I'm looking for a nice little Perl module doing the Napster thingy.
The reason is this little neat WinAmp plugin that finds albums at Amazon similar to what you're currently listening to.
First thought: "Well, then go fetch me the song!". But... that might not be entirely within the business model of Amazon, so the second thought was "I have to do that last part myself".
So, I need a client running on Windows doing a Napster or Gnutella or whatnot.
The bad news: I dowloaded MP3::Napster and Net::Gnutella, but couldn't get either one of them to connect to a server (I looked up a list of Gnutella servers, but still no luck. I'm on a modem connection right now; probably not a fw issue).
Any suggestions? Other p2p-networks that work well, or just some hands-on experience on how to get this to work?
Thanks,
/J
