I do agree to few of your points. DBIx::Class is very vast and it would take a good amount of time to read it. The link you posted Re:Databse MySQL Perl had a different concept than this one. Here there are two arguments, there it was one. And moreover the similar post was posted on Feb 27, 2012 at 07:26 UTC.
