Hello,
I am working with Jmeter and nagios to include a perl script. The issue we are running into is that the datasource names that nagios uses to graph results are limited to 19 characters. The datasource names currently in place are URI HTTP requests are far exceed this 19 character limit.
Is there an option to convert strings to a shorter hex (or other) format that will meet these requirements. I am looking for something similar to Digest::MD5's md5_hex function.
Many thanks for your insights!
