Not being an audio-anything, I would do some simple searches :) Turns out I actually did do some searches and found Compare wav files and Sound dedection and How to compare 2 wav files. and Analyzing WAV Files with Perl

If I had to do this, the option I would choose would be to script a program designed specifically for audio analysis
