Is surprise that 'Abigail' is a male and not a female really an "issue"? I had no idea that 'Abigail' was a well-known personality in the Perl world who is dealing with lifestyle issues. Therefore I was surprised first of all that 'Abigail' was a male, and secondly that mere surprise at that fact is offensive to a fair number of PMs.
