Regarding PM on portable devices, I've been using it for years on an HTC_Magic (320x480) and now a Samsung_Galaxy_S2 (480x800), and found no problems with either. In the past I've responded to requests for a PerlMonks App (Andriod/iOS) stating the the default browser for Android works fine.
