Hi,
I’m trying to append one file to another but ALWAYS the last few lines go missing. This is my first attempt in perl, I’m not sure where I go wrong. Please advice,
open(IN, "<$PATH2/dtl-file$file_id.txt") || &open_error($PATH2, "dtl-f
+ile$file_id.txt", $!);
open(OUT, ">>$PATH2/file1$file_id.txt") || &open_error($PATH2, "fi
+le1$file_id.txt", $!);
while(<IN>){
print OUT $_;
}
close (IN);
close (OUT);
Thank you
