Most Policy modules are based on Damian Conway's book Perl Best Practices. However, Perl::Critic is not limited to PBP and will even support Policies that contradict Conway. ... You can also create new Policy modules that suit your own tastes.I interpret that to mean that all the best practices from the book may not have been implemented. It sounds like you have performed a pretty thorough search. You may have to create these.
