Concluding that davido's observation about useful replies is a useful model:

Install/execute restrictions can be a PITA; my favored editor was not certified by M$, early on, so had to tolerate a "You really, really want to run that?" dialogue, but while annoying, unless you're billing hours in milliseconds, or have a 'very, very short fuze,' it's probably not an intolerable problem -- if, indeed, you hit any such aps.
