How do you write basic start_element, character, end_element handler events in XML::Twig similar to how it is done in XML::Parser
you don't, twig takes care of that for you, you process documents by branches(twigs), not by start-tag-handler/char-handler/end-tag-handler
But if you insist, see start_tag_handlers/char_handler/end_tag_handlers
See site:perlmonks.org twig start_tag_handlers, site:perlmonks.org "by Anonymous Monk" twig start_tag_handlers, ?node_id=3989;BIT=use%20XML%3A%3ATwig;BIS=-;a=%5BAnonymous%20Monk%5D;xr=1, http://xmltwig.org/tutorial/, http://xmltwig.org/article

Titles consisting of a single word are discouraged, and in most cases are disallowed outright.
Read Where should I post X? if you're not absolutely sure you're posting in the right place.
