I read kobesearch gone? and http://cpan.uwinnipeg.ca/ is still dead. One feature I miss of kobe search is looking at a list of all modules in a module name directory/"package", and by distribution name directories. Is there a way to do this on one of the remaining CPAN interfaces? search.cpan.org forces me to pick vauge category names which some distributions were never assigned to since their package names were never registered. I dont know the name of what I am looking for, but I know what package any sane Perl programmer would put it in. How do I get such a list similar to the old kobe search?
