You could use/adapt Re^2: How to clean-up an autobundle so it's really "auto-installable" and still use cpanp/cpanm/whatever to install specific versions of module
cpanm might even have this bundling current versions feature built-in, I don't recall -- also pinto/carton might have this feature
I've been getting by with my program for years :)
