This is a non-code poem, but a poem of apprication for perlmonks.org

may our code be swift like the wind
and may our modules bend like the grass

may strict and warnings prevail
and let us C plus plus surpass

let C G I pm be used
and never named in vain

may the bundled tools be used by all
such as h2xs, perldoc, and splain

and when all has here been said and done
let no monk feel too small

to thank a man named vroom
for this monestery hall

update: fixed spelling error
