in reply to I didnt post "Praise to Merlyn" 3 times... only once

Okay, I just voted you down and I'll tell you why, but there shouldn't be any "requirement" to do so. We have hundreds of Monks on this site who vote every day and if all of them were to explain downvotes every time they downvoted, we'd have a lot more useless junk to wade through than three posts to praise merlyn.

Why did I vote you down? Because, despite your protest to the contrary, you did post this multiple times. When you hit "reload" on your browser, it sends the same information it sent to request the page you are currently viewing. Because you had created a node, it sent a request to create another node. Browsers often warn that you are resending data. Either yours does not, or you didn't understand the warning.

To avoid this in the future, after you post, simply visit Newest Nodes or some other page where you don't have to hit a "Submit" button and then return your page you want to view by clicking on a link (NOT hitting the back button). Then, you can refresh away without reposting.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Ovid
