Can we get a link somewhere on the site to the new Perl Monks SETI group ? Users who did not see the orginal discussion may not know we have a group.

Since the Perlmonks Setiathome group is more of a "community" thing rather than a "perl" thing, I am inclined to doubt that a link would be provided (especially since I started this on my own initiative and am not officially associated with Perlmonks).

Since I post rather regularly - and, to my dismay, have watched the quality of my posts plummet since I've taken a new job :( - I always include a link to the Setiathome group in my signature, with a <font size=1> tag, so that it is unobtrusive.

I also regularly update the Setiathome information on my home node, so people can also go there and check it out. I encourage them to do so because, even though it's unlikely that Setiathome will discover anything, it's good science and a worthwhile cause.

I'd also just like to say that so far, we're the only Setiathome group with 20+ members that doesn't have a bunch of zeroes for "results returned" at the bottom of the list :). Good work Monks!

    Cheers,
    Ovid
