It depends on how you define "the counters". If that is based on the webserver's logfile, nothing should be done in addition to fetching the page. If it's based on some image (sooo 1990's ;-) you will have to request the image, not the site. But that's cheating ;-) -- b10m All code is usually tested, but rarely trusted.	[reply]
