It's nice to see that the Unicode has a code point for the Tengwar. I don't think it's really complete as Tolkien used quite a few characters not described in LotR appendices, but it's flattering to the fans that it was considered.hmmm, the Proposed New Scripts page states it as [...]being worked on by Unicode Technical Committee Working Groups.
The proposition dates back to 1997...I wonder if propositions are ever rejected, or if their status remains "being worked on" for ever; tengwar as part of unicode with available fonts would be really helpful in writing/reading online about LOTR...
