You can always use the wayback machine to see the first pages archived at perlmonks.thepen.com, but that only has a few pages, and only goes back to September 2001.
Unfortunately, perlmonks denies robots, so the monastery itself isn't archived there.
I was thinking about how long I've been coming here now.
It's hard to believe it's been over 3 years.
Though it is still basically the same. The have been improvements and what not, but it doesn't strike me as much different then when I joined. (Which I consider a good thing)
