Er... where would the `cmp` operator fit into this thread? I keep seeing ascii scalar data, and the numeric '<=>' being used? I thought they behaved differently?

If I have $\ = undef; will that have any effect on how the array is created, I just thought of this, I think that may be why it is lumping them all together. Sorry, Thanks for the help so far, mkurtis	[reply]
