I guess I should have been more specific, also. Are you needing to make it graphical or can you do it in ascii? Are you looking for built-in tools that approximate graphing functions?

A quick scan of http://ppm.activestate.com/BuildStatus/5.8-G.html shows that both GD and Graphviz FAIL to build for Activestate 5.8.3. That doesn't mean they don't exist (I use GD extensively) but you have to get the ppd from somewhere (I get them from Randy Kobes' repository) or build it yourself. Seems like you can't do either because you don't control the machine you are going to running this on. I hope I am wrong, but I think you are out of luck. | [reply] |
