Thanks to mdillon, and tye for this simple fix to the formatting problem. Now you're forced to preview at least once unless you turn it off in the miscellaneous section of your user settings

Would it be prudent to put a bit of text under the previewed post, saying something like "If your post is badly formatted, read posting FAQ to see how you can make the world a more beautiful place"?

Ahh the warm feeling of a site developer who is both willing to listen and clued in. Watching this sie get better and better is both gratifying and illuminating. Howmuch have I learned about usability in the real people sense from this place and slashdot?

Now, can you make people non-stupid? I'd send you money for that solution =) =)

Well... there is that quote from the .sig of a busy pumpkin holder:

I'd just like to thank ar0n for suggesting the idea before I did (and mdillon for putting it in a root node). Feel free to show your appreciation to ar0n at RE: Preview/New vs Submit(only), if you are so inclined.

I thought someone else had suggested it even before ar0n but I don't know where. But I feel bad for getting credit for just repeating it. {-:

Hey, does this mean that we can now gleefully vote down nodes lacking <code> tags without having to feel guilty first? ;-)
