I have been programming in Perl for less than one year at the writing of this bio(7/8/04). I am a Lab Tech in a Cellular Biology lab, whose partial focus is the annotation of the cuticular protein genes of the African malaria mosquito, Anopheles gambiae. These genes make up almost a full 1% of this animal's genes, and form its protection from the environment and from pesticides.
