Regexp::Parser version 0.01 is now available for downloading and toying with. Right now, it is available from my website, but within 24 hours it should be at your local CPAN mirror.

It is beta, basically. The documentation is incomplete, but thorough for what's already there. Try making subclasses as explained (if I explained it will enough). Reply to this node (or email me, but replying here makes it more of a community experience) if you find a bug, have a problem, or whatever.

The next version will have object documentation. I will also create sub-classes like Regexp::Unix (for parsing file globs and converting them to Perl regexes) and Regexp::Fuzzy (which takes a regex and a number of modifications, insertions, and deletions to make and returns a regex that matches fuzzily) and, of course, Regexp::Explain!
