sending keyboard events to windows apps ??

Hello fellow monks,

I am wondering if there is someway to send keyboard events to another win32 application. e.g. I am looking at functionality similar to sendkey() in vbscript. Has anybody come across any such module, code ...

Barath Thanks for the replies folks. I just have one other follow up query. Has anybody seen any issues with sending events across different languages. I am primarily interested English and German. I just tried sending out a few events on english and looks like GUITest handles it quite nicely. Are there any hiccups I might run into with a german OS. Thanks again

Win32::GUITest has a SendKeys method anongst many other widgets. I find it works quite well. cheers tachyon	[reply]
