    thanks for the links! I did not know about his Perl connections. I'm always on the lookout for Perl tools to help me with my testing. I'm started to read up on the 'Mechanize' package. Have to read "Testing Applications on the Web" by Hung Q. Nguyen (ISBN: 047139470X)? I would like someones opinion on it. Thanks Pierre Garigue

      Good book with good advice. Worth a read. I've only read the first edition, which obviously doesn't talk about some of the more recent tools. Oriented toward people with a testing background.

      I've been told that the second edition "Testing Applications on the Web: Test Planning for Mobile and Internet-Based Systems" is even better, but I've not read it myself.
