It was 0.85. I've now installed it despite the make test failure. The test program above produced the same problems with 0.85 run as (PATH=`pwd` ; cd /; myscript).	[reply]

I was going to say try setting env PAR_DEBUG, but that doesn't work anymore	[reply]
