Perl has given me very clear vision, and I have trouble not expecting everyone else to have such clarity of mind.

A clouded mind expects everyone elses to be clear, grasshopper.

    Or it could just be that I've forgotten when I had trouble learning this stuff. delete $brain{perl_trouble};

      The ego of ones mind pushes them away from the reality, grasshopper.

      I can do Zen quotes all day :) But, when you sit and think "Cripes! Why don't they know that??" it shows ego has gotten in the way, as opposed to a more compassionate and empathetic "I recall being in that situation and understand their frustration".

        Yes, which is exactly what I just said. I think perhaps hanging out on EFnet did that to me. I increased my level of Perl prowess, while being in the company of people with very short tempers.
