How to graphically (label or entry) show a loop index in perl Tk?

Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

How do show the present value of a loop on a Label or Entry widget in Perl-Tk instantaneously? I thought that textvariable would do the trick but it doesn't reflect the changed value until the loop is finished and only then it shows the LAST value of the index. Please help!!

You need to do an `$mw->update;` after you've updated the textvariable. - - arden.	[reply] [d/l]
