    I like the old Janis Joplin definition of freedom:
    $freedom =1 if $my_left_to_lose eq 'nothing';

      I think you'll find it was Kris Kristofferson who came up with that definition.

    This is a sort of postmodern poetry, I guess.

    I can remember the guy trying to be true at counting the fingers.

    I always end like that when I start suspecting that my code is not doing what I was pretending it to do.

    Neat :). The first thing that came to my mind is GNU :). The freedom to read the source :). I guess that could easily apply to perl :) (I realize that Perl is on an artistic license, but it's all about the source :)).
