Re: Time Zones

Is it possible to put in your own specific GMT offset? So even people on Ben time have a chance (if only slim) of having whatever time zone they happen to find themselves in?

Or is it strictly limited to whatever FreeBSD has available?

You can specify a GMT offsets in units of even hours via user settings. Those timezones are for backward compatability with how PM did 'timezones' previously and they use timezones on FreeBSD that are for backward compatability as well. Unfortunately, they are backward compatible to when GMT offsets where measure in reverse to how they are now. - tye	[reply]

/me Ouch! This reminds me of when Ben Franklin (unwittingly) defined current flow the "wrong" way. It doesn't really matter, as long as you know what it means.
