Perl associated with a deleted program

dccobra has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I downloaded a program (Master Cook Pantry) and it was screwing up programs. I uninstalled it. Now when I write a perl script it runs fine in MSDOS but when I try and run it from a CGI (-bin) folder it says it can't run the script. All of my .pl files have changed to "Type: Master Cook Pantry". Any help out there?

Just fix the file association/application mapping. Explorer: Tools\|Folder Options\|File Types\|.pl - point it a perl.exe IIS: Fix the application mapping cheers tachyon	[reply]
