    Maybe they saw you coming. I just this minute subscribed to the mailing list by following the links to this URL: http://www.perl.org.il/mailman/listinfo/perl

    You weren't doing something dumb like trying to log in as the list's administrator to view the subscriber list were you? The form states "The subscribers list is only available to the list administrator."

    Perhaps you didn't understand that you're joining an emailing list, not a Monastery, by filling in that form.

      Looks like he was trying to connect to the external forum mentioned on http://www.perl.org.il/hebrew.html. Not sure why he wouldn't just subscribe to one of the mailing lists instead.
