in thread CPAN ratings without reviews harmful or not?
seven rankings/reviews where not one reviewer ever bothered to say why it was so good, just that it was, and that doesn't help me that much when I need to compare it with something else.It would help if you consider a sample size of 7 to be relevant. It also helps if that number is significantly higher than the number of ratings of what it compares with.
It is a matter of supportability alongside quality. If the greatest module ever written is used by no one, then you're on your own when trying to use it. If the worst module in the world is used by everyone, you're in good company when asking for help.

You said you wanted to be around when I made a mistake; well, this could be it, sweetheart.
