Although we're accustomed to protecting things of value, for instance, gold, diamonds, and Munch paintings, we must not forget that things deemed harmful to humanity, such as nuclear waste, minefields, and Michael Jackson, must also be guarded to prevent the curious, naive, or stupid from injuring themselves through accidental or intentional contact with them.
In other words, if compiled Perl 6 means that you nobody will ever have to set eyes upon your source code again, then I wish the Perl 6 developers godspeed in their task.
